A MOMENT TO CONSIDER
The Egypt series closes with an undignified travel mishap: stomach trouble, an urgent restroom visit, and a pair of communal slippers near Cairo’s Al-Azhar Mosque. Kefei finds himself laughing at an experience far removed from the grandeur of temples and monuments.
The comic account becomes a meditation on surrendering control and making room for play. Discovery arrives through discomfort, and humor offers a way to remain open when expectations collapse.
